RAPID FRAGMENTATION
Despite magnetic fields resisting collapse, the GMC is gravitationally globally bound and begins to fragment as stars form and transfer gravitational energy into kinetic energy. Stars rapidly form. Protostellar jets begin ejecting accreting mass in bipolar jets along their rotational axis, stirring the cloud. The cloud will soon disperse due to the feedback regulating effects in the GMC.
